Welcome to Grand Velvet Room

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply to your use of the Grand Velvet Room website (the "Site") and any services offered at our venue, including restaurant dining and poker evenings. Grand Velvet Room is located at 86–90 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean Grand Velvet Room. References to "you" or "your" mean the user or customer. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Site or making a booking. They set out the basis on which we provide our services and the standards of conduct we expect from every guest.

Acceptance

By accessing or using the Site, or by making a booking or attending an event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or services. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance of changes. The current version will always be available on this page.

Permitted Use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes to learn about our services and make bookings. You must not misuse the Site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation.

• You must not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission.
• You must not use the Site for any unlawful purpose.
• You must not attempt to disrupt, disable, or damage the Site or its underlying systems.

Table Reservations

Reservations can be made via the website, phone, or email. We require a credit card to secure bookings for groups of six or more. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee.

Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a charge of $50 per person. We will hold your table for 15 minutes after the reserved time. If you are running late, please contact us so we can do our best to accommodate you.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Grand Velvet Room is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Site.

• We are not responsible for lost or stolen personal items.
• Food allergies: please inform staff; we cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power outages, illness, or severe weather.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited.

Intellectual Property Rights

All content on the Site, including text, images, logos, and design, is owned by Grand Velvet Room or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not use any content without prior written permission. The Grand Velvet Room name and logo are trademarks.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales. We encourage informal resolution first by contacting us.
